Dionne attends a different type of school

This morning Dionne, Steve, and I had a different flavor of puppy fun -- we visited the first-grade class at All Hallows Catholic School. CCI had put out a call for volunteers, and since the school is just a half hour's walk up the hill from us, I was happy to raise my hand (and Dionne's paw).

It turned out very well. The kids listened raptly and asked tons of questions, many of them excellent.

And Dionne performed like a little angel, even when confronted with the ultimate temptation -- a room full of 19 children. After talking for a while, we showed off all the commands she can do, and then we made the rounds, asking her to shake over and over again.
On the walk back home, she told us it was MUCH more interesting than attending regular puppy class. (We did that last night.  It's so much more boring.)
